Behind the scenes
Selecting the fonts are the vital part of this project or website as it is a website only for reading, Through out the process I have gone through many fonts and tried them. And finally ended up with some amazing fonts that are readable and visually accessible by any users or readers.
Nova-cut is a font that has been used in the navigation bar here, This font is mainly used in the heading or marking up the texts.Initially the font contained only capitals and digits and existed only on paper and stone inscriptions.
Righteous is one of the most used and famous font from the GOOGLE fonts, As it depicts the heading and text that contains bold meanings. This font is also have curved structure.Righteous was initially inspired by the all capitals letterforms from the deco posters of Hungarian artist Robert Berény for Modiano. Grid based and geometric in execution, the letterforms are highly readable at a range of point sizes. Unlike that of the inspiration source, Righteous has a full lowercase to increase flexibility of use.
Poiret One is used here to mention the sub headings of the websites, The importance of this font is that even if the font weight is too low, then also it won't effect the visual readability. Poiret One is a unique typeface with light forms and pure elegance. Sleek and simple. Based on geometric forms, it has stylish lines and graceful curves.
Gentium Basic is used to depict the contents and the main body of the website. The Gentium Basic font family is based on the original Gentium design, but with additional weights. The family comes with a complete regular, bold, italic and bold italic set of fonts.
Here in the website, I have used four different colors, It comes with the white background and greyish-black text which is a minimal one and highly recommended for the reading purpose. Other orange color is used in hover state for the navigation bar and Pure black for the headings
